Microsoft Announces Xbox One S Gears Of War 4 Bundles In White, Blue Variants

by Suriel Vazquez on Oct 01, 2016 at 07:31 AM

On the eve of Gears of War 4's October 11 launch, Microsoft has announced a pair of bundles to coincide with its Fall blockbuster.

For $349, you can get a white Xbox One S with 1TB of hard drive space, the new bluetooth-enabled Xbox Wireless Controller, and a copy of Gears of War 4.

The other bundle, retailing for $299, includes a special edition "deep blue" edition of the Xbox One S, a 500GB hard drive, and a copy of the game. This bundle is sold exclusive at GameStop (Disclosure: GameStop is the Game Informer parent company) and Microsoft Stores in the United States (EB Games and Microsoft Stores in Australia).

We should note all bundles sold at GameStop will include a physical copy (which does not include Microsoft's new Play Anywhere initiative). Otherwise, it will be a digital download (which will include Play Anywhere).

Our Take
If I didn't have an Xbox One already, I'd be tempted by the deep blue console, but might hesitate at the 500GB hard drive. I suppose you could swap it out, though.
