Titanfall's Popular Attrition Mode Returns In Titanfall 2
The popular Attrition mode from Titanfall is returning in Respawn's follow-up, Titanfall 2. Attrition functions much like team deathmatch-style modes, but in addition to wiping out human-controlled enemies, the game throws grunts and Spectres into the mix – A.I.-controlled minions – which can be killed for fewer points.
In addition, in the latest official Titanfall 2 blog post, Respawn has shared footage of the mode running on PC. The footage below is from streamer Darkness_429.
Also, Respawn has released a new trailer showcasing the stars of the game (aside from the titular Titans): the pilots. You can check that out below.
Titanfall 2 hits PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 28.

Though there were better modes in Titanfall than Attrition, it was always a fun mode to pop into to break up the action of the other modes. When combined with the new additions and other returning modes, Titanfall 2 is shaping up to be a pretty fully featured title.
