You Can Now Change Your Battle.net Name Whenever You Want For $10

On Battle.net, it's possible to change your BattleTag free of charge as long as it's the first time you do it. Now, if you're still unhappy with your username, you can change it as many times as you like for a fee.

Blizzard writes, "Whether you've outgrown your BattleTag or you've decided it's simply time for a change, you can update your BattleTag with just a few clicks." By heading here, you can choose a new name for $10. Blizzard reassures users that friend lists will remain the same. If you've never changed your name before, you're still eligible for one free name change. You can choose whatever BattleTag you like as long as it coheres to Battle.net's naming policy.

In comparison, Xbox Live grants users the ability to change their gamertags once, whereas PlayStation Network doesn't allow any name alterations.

Last month, Blizzard introduced Facebook streaming to Battle.net, which you can read about here.
