See The Crazy Amount Of Work That Went Into Uncharted 4 In This Time-Lapse Video

by Jeff Marchiafava on Sep 01, 2016 at 10:02 AM

Uncharted 4 is a gorgeous game, but sometimes it's easy to overlook the beauty when you're getting chased through Madagascar by a squad of angry mercenaries. Thankfully, Naughty Dog environment artist Anthony Vaccaro has put together a time-lapse video of how much detail gets layered onto each and every location.

In the video's description, Vaccaro explains that the video shows the environments transition from "the first playable blockmesh to final art," though he says images from between the beta and gold master of the game were lost. All in all it's a remarkable look at the meticulous work game developers put into a project.
