VIZ Media Acquires Publishing Rights For Super Mario And Zelda: Twilight Princess Comics
VIZ Media, the publishing company responsible for bringing dozens of manga and anime titles over the United States, has acquired the rights to two comic series based on the Super Mario and Legend of Zelda series.
Super Mario Adventures was a comic originally published in Nintendo Power throughout 1992. VIZ will be reprinting the original graphic novel in October. The company will also be publishing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, a manga series based on the game of the same name. The manga was originally written in 2006, but was not released due to the game's CERO B rating in Japan. The English translation of the manga is slated to release in March of 2017.
