by Mike Futter on Aug 03, 2016 at 05:26 AM

We’ve been following the progress of Darkest Dungeon on PC since before it arrived in early access. The tactically impressive and challenging title is now set for its debut on console.

The long-awaited PlayStation 4 and Vita releases have finally been dated. When it does land on September 27, it will include a number of additions that have been added to the PC edition.

This includes 15 character classes and more than 40 town events. A single $25 purchase will get you both the console and handheld version.

If you’re not sure what to expect from a trip to the dungeon, let our review light your path. You can read it here and check out the game on Steam now if you’re eager to get started.

Our Take
Darkest Dungeon was a PAX Indie Megabooth gem that made good upon its release. For those looking for an XCOM level of challenge in a fantasy setting (with gorgeous visuals), this one shouldn’t be missed.
