CNN And Square Enix Release Documentary On Human Augmentation
With the release of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on the horizon, CNN and Square Enix are hosting a conference this week on human augmentation featuring experts on transhumanism, ethics, and technology. They’ll debate what it means to be human and discuss the ethical implications of selective augmentation.
In advance of the conference, CNN’s Courageous studio and Square Enix have released a 30-minute documentary on the subject. Human by Design is available today on Amazon Prime, with a trailer below.
There are three different panels on the topics of augmentation as a human right, selective vs. therapeutic augmentation, and the future of human augmentation. You can watch the conference via livestream on the Deus Ex Twitch channel.
