Netflix Gives A First Look At Its Iron Fist Series
Netflix has gone all-in on Marvel programming. Iron Fist is set to join Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Defenders on the streaming service next year.
In the comics, a childhood tragedy left Danny Rand with a thirst for revenge. To quench it, he studies the martial arts, fights a dragon, and claims the power of the Iron Fist. When given the opportunity to exact his vengeance though, Rand chooses mercy.
Netflix has stayed close to the source material for its other Marvel shows, though not rigidly so. We’ll see how the series handles dabbling in the mystic.
