Zipcar Is Offering Free Chauffeured Rides For Pokémon Go Players In Boston

by AJ Moser on Jul 21, 2016 at 06:40 AM

The Pokémon Go phenomenon continues to grow, as all sorts of businesses come up with creative ways to promote their services using the game. Zipcar is offering one such example this weekend with a free chauffeur service to help players become the very best.

Zipcar, which typically lets users rent a car to drive themselves around, is letting users reserve a driver so they can play Pokémon Go while moving around the city. This is a way to encourage players not to use the game while driving, which has been a major concern surrounding the game. Players can send out a tweet to @Zipcar with their time slot to reserve a car. The service will also supply snacks, water, and phone chargers for those hunting new Pokémon.

The chauffeur service is limited to Boston for now, and will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today. Pokémon Go is currently available on iOS and Android devices.
