Square Enix Is Working On An RPG Exclusive For Apple Watch
Square Enix has announced that its working on a role-playing game for the Apple Watch, titled Cosmos Rings. While other RPGs such as Runeblade already exist on the Apple Watch, this is Square Enix's first on the platform.
Little is known yet about gameplay, but it's been confirmed that it will use the watch's pedometer functionality. Creator of the mobile game series Chaos Rings, Takehiro Ando, will act as producer, and Final Fantasy artist Yusuke Naora will be overseeing art direction.
Cosmos Rings will launch worldwide this summer for the Apple Watch. You can find out about Apple Watch's first game, Rules!, here.

The Apple Watch has been light on games, but I think that there's a combination of reasons for that. It's still relatively new since its release last year, and its small screen doesn't help matters. However, seeing Square Enix's name branded on this title will likely attract some fans.
