by Matthew Kato on Jul 12, 2016 at 06:43 AM

Today Three Fields Entertainment is sending out an update to its Dangerous Golf destruction title, and it's filled with new features and changes based on user feedback.

The update should be live this afternoon in North America on all platforms (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC) and includes:

  • Fast Restarts: Down to two to three seconds!
  • New Control System: Players have the option to use a new simplified stick/button control system as well as utilize onscreen prompts.
  • Free Aim: Aim wherever you want on the tee and putt for any hole.
  • Camera Improvements: Camera collision with the ball has been improved and Danger Time slo-mo can be used at the tee.
  • Tutorials: A whole new video (see below) starring LA DJ Ted Stryker (from Burnout 3!) talks you through the game's finer points. There is also a new loading screen tip system.
  • SmashWave: Clear a better path to the hole with this new ability.
  • Frame rate: Every hole is optimized for 30 fps.
  • Less Frustrating Holes: The difficulty curve of some holes has been fixed per user feedback.
  • Steam-Specific Features: Supports Steam controller and enables Steam cloud saves.
  • General Bug Fixes and More Comic Sounds!
