Final Fantasy VII Now Available On Android

by Kyle Hilliard on Jul 07, 2016 at 05:19 AM

The highly-regarded PlayStation RPG is now playable on Android devices.

You can grab the game here for $15.99. It includes all the bells and whistles of the game's recent re-releases, including the ability to turn off encounters and the ability to max all your stats. Curiously, the description for the game on the Google Play Store features a lengthy disclaimer warning players to save frequently saying, "The buggy, submarines, airships, and other modes of transportation may cease to move when the player embarks or disembarks. Currently, the only fix is to restart the game from a data file saved before the bug occurred."

We recently spent five hours playing through Final Fantasy VII again and discussing the game in detail. You can find that full Game Club discussion here.

Our Take
I suppose a buggy Android version is better than no version? Hopefully a patch is on the way.
