Weekend Warrior – Back To Summer
Many of us are still recovering from our E3 hangovers. Thankfully, we haven’t grow sick of video games yet. This weekend many of us plan on playing Overwatch, Zelda, and Dark Souls III. Some idiot is planning on cleaning.
Kyle Hilliard (@KyleMHilliard) – The E3 scramble is complete, which means it’s finally time to clean up the house I have been neglecting for two weeks. I’m going to do so many dishes and so much laundry this weekend, that it’s crazy. Otherwise, I am looking forward to spending a bunch of time with Rhythm Heaven Megamix and getting started on Quantum Break. Might throw in a few Overwatch matches for good measure.
Brian Shea (@BrianPShea) – This weekend, I’ll be playing a ton of Overwatch and Zelda: Twilight Princess HD. In between that, I’ll be continuing my 3DS playthrough of A Link to the Past, as well as an occasional trip into the world of Superhot.
Jeff Cork (@gijeff) – I’ve been playing a lot of Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare with my kids lately, and I imagine that we’ll be continuing that new tradition over the next few days. We’re firmly on team zombie, and I’m hoping that we can level up a ton of characters over the weekend. Other than that, I’ll probably be playing around with whatever Steam sale stuff I end up downloading between the occasional Clash Royale battles.
Javy Gwaltney (@HurdyIV) I’m going to be sitting back in my recliner and reading Ancillary Sword as well as playing more of Zero Time Dilemma and Overwatch.
Jeff Marchiafava (@GIJeffM) Now that the E3 hoopla is finally over, I can finally stop writing about games and actually start playing them again. I definitely plan on sinking some quality time into Overwatch, which I’ve been woefully neglecting the past two weeks, and I might jump back into Dark Souls III. Or I might nap all weekend. One or the other.
Blake Hester (Hates Twitter, hates fun) – This weekend I'm going to play Sonic Adventure, because no game has ever, or will ever, match it in quality. I've got places to go. I've got to follow my rainbow.
Haley MacLean (@haleyfaxer) – This weekend I want to get back into Overwatch in preparation for the update with competitive mode. I would kill for a golden gun for Solider 76, but winning 300 games in a season is a large order to fill so I better get my skills up there. I’m also considering finishing up Bully which I started for the first time a few weeks before arriving at Game Informer and I’d love to finish it up to check it off my played list in the Rockstar category. I’m also working on memorizing the entirety of the Pokérap (first gen of course), I’m up to Wigglytuff so far but I must prevail.
AJ Moser (@AndMoser) – This weekend I'm taking a vacation to the gaseous planet of Bespin and enjoying the lovely vistas of Cloud City in the new Star Wars Battlefront DLC. That's right, I'm one of those few people who liked and still plays Star Wars Battlefront. Other than that, I'm going to finish Season One of Mr. Robot and continue slugging through Final Fantasy VII.
Ben Hanson (@Yozetty) – This weekend I’m sure I’ll continue to be sucked into the Overwatch vortex, much like Zaria’s ultimate. I’d love to try out that new (for console dweebs) battle mode in Minecraft though, it could be fun. Mix in a little bit of Rhythm Heaven and you’ve got yourself a weekend!
