Fable Fortune Kickstarter Canceled As External Funding Secured
The Fable Fortune digital collectible card game Kickstarter wasn’t looking terribly promising on the funding front. Thankfully, an external investor has stepped in to make the project a reality.
Flaming Fowl Studios has canceled the funding campaign, with the title now targeting closed beta. “With the immediate future of Fable Fortune now secure, we have taken the decision to end our Kickstarter campaign early to focus on releasing a Closed Beta build as quickly as possible,” the studio says. “As we've always stated, we want to make this game with your help, your feedback and your input. We have huge plans for Fortune and we know that whatever happens in the future, it all started with our already incredible community.”

This is the best possible scenario for Flaming Fowl and those interested in Fable Fortune. The Kickstarter pitch wasn’t great, even though the game itself might have promise. With this, the Fable franchise will live on, at least in some small way.
