The developer behind Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D and Triforce Heroes announced an original RPG during Nintendo's Treehouse Live stream.

The game features the involvement of Koichi Ishii who is known for directing Secret of Mana and the first three Final Fantasy games. The game has an Egyptian aesthetic and is all about developing and growing an oasis in the desert and attracting new people to come and live in your town. You can also explore dungeons with a party to fight and solve environmental puzzles.

After premiering the trailer, Nintendo showed of some dungeon gameplay, which was surprisingly reminiscent of a puzzle-heavy Zelda dungeon. Each member of your party has different abilities that help to solve environmental puzzles and find keys to unlock doors. One character, for example, could roll up into a walnut in order to roll through small halls, much like Samus does in Metroid. It all lead to a difficult boss fight against an enemy called Baastu.

Some other small details mentioned during the stream about the game include a day night cycle that affects the inventory of your shop and the ability to choose your gender at the beginning of the game. You can also synthesize new weapons and items with the assorted items you find in the game's world and dungeons.
