Original Phantom Dust Getting Remastered For Xbox One And PC

by Brian Shea on Jun 13, 2016 at 01:53 PM

While there was no mention of a new entry in the Phantom Dust franchise during Microsoft's press conference, the platform holder has announced that the original Phantom Dust is being remastered for release on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.

General manager of publishing at Xbox Shannon Loftis showed off the title at Geoff Keighley's YouTube Live at E3 show. She claims that multiple elements will be tweaked and it will include modern Xbox Live functionality. Phantom Dust will also feature draft decks so that you don't have to wait until your arsenal is built up in order to get the full multiplayer experience.

In addition to supporting crisper graphics and better performance, this original Xbox remaster features Xbox Play Anywhere to allow for cross-buy and cross-play, as well as tournament play thanks to Xbox Live Arena.

Phantom Dust is set to launch on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC in 2017.
