Both NES StarTropics Games Arrive On Wii U Virtual Console Today
Mike and his yo-yo are making a comeback this week. StarTropics and Zoda’s Revenge: StarTropics II have arrived on the Wii U Virtual Console.
Originally released in 1990 and 1994 respectively, the games follow the adventures of Mike Jones in a fictional cluster of islands. The story quickly grows into a tale of extraterrestrial abduction and invasion.

While I never played Zoda’s Revenge, I loved StarTropics when it launched. I can’t vouch for how its aged, but for $5, I’m willing to revisit that part of my childhood.
