Doom's Enormous BFG 9000 Recreated In Lego Weighs 20 Pounds

by Elise Favis on Apr 17, 2016 at 05:56 AM

YouTuber ZaziNombies, famous for both his video game weapon Lego recreations and his clever name, is at it again. This time, he's remade the beast of a gun, Doom's BFG 9000, with over 5,000 Lego bricks.

The BFG 9000 is one of Doom's most powerful weapons, and fires green balls of plasma. ZaziNombie's Lego version weighs a whooping 20 pounds, and measures more than three feet long. It's so massive that the creator comments it could probably fit "hundreds, if not thousands, of [Lego] mini figures inside the frame of this weapon."

Be sure to check out more of ZaziNombies creations, such as the Gjallarhorn from Destiny, and a life-sized Claptrap from Borderlands. The Doom reboot launching later this year is currently in open beta (which wraps up today) for its multiplayer.
