Try Out The HTC Vive VR Headset At 10 GameStop Locations
You’ve heard us talking about virtual reality for months, but you might not have had the chance to try the technology for yourself. If you live near one of 10 demo locations, you might be able to remedy that.
GameStop (Disclosure: GameStop is Game Informer’s parent company) is holding HTC Vive demonstrations beginning on April 16. Here are the participating locations:

The Vive differs from its current competition, Oculus Rift, by offering “room scale” virtual reality. Using two sensors and motion control wands, players are free to move around a larger space.
When the Oculus Touch controllers and PlayStation VR (which makes use of PlayStation Move) come out later this year, we’ll see other standing VR options. For now though, Rift is tuned for seated experiences.
