Rocket League: Collector's Edition Coming In July

by Jeff Cork on Apr 07, 2016 at 04:15 AM

Psyonix and 505 Games have released more information on the upcoming Rocket League: Collector's Edition, including when you'll be able to get your hands on the physical bundle of the fantastic car-soccer game.

Rocket League: Collector's Edition will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on July 5 in North America. Europeans will be able to get the game earlier, on June 24. The retail edition includes the game and the Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars, and Chaos Run DLC. Psyonix says it will also include four new vehicles.

If you haven't played Rocket League yet for some inexplicable reason, take a look at our Test Chamber for the game, featuring an intern battle for the ages.

Our Take
I love Rocket League, and having a retail version is bound to attract a new wave of players. Personally, I'll stick to the version I already have downloaded. If I can avoid having to interact with physical discs, I'll go that route whenever possible. With any luck, those four new cars will be available later as DLC.
