Be Charitable For Tomb Raider's 20th Anniversary

by Matthew Kato on Mar 29, 2016 at 04:42 AM

It's been 20 years of Tomb Raider and Lara Croft, and developer Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix are celebrating the milestone with festivities all year, starting with some charity work.

Anyone who donates at least $1 to GameChanger Charity gets a free digital copy of Tomb Raider (2013) on PC, and if you give at least $20 you'll be entered into a drawing with prizes such as a Crystal Dynamics swag bag (including a collector's edition of Rise of the Tomb Raider) and other items. Click the GameChanger link above for more info.

This campaign ends on April 5 (or until supplies run out), so don't delay.

GameChanger Charity is a non-profit organization that delivers video game gifts to hospitals and financial support to families with children with life-threatening diseases.

Square Enix is also planning something to coincide with PAX East in Boston at the end of the month.

Our Take
Congratulations to Crystal Dynamics, Square Enix, and Lara on this occasion, and we look forward to what else is in store. It's too bad this particular campaign doesn't run for long, but then again you can always donate to GameChanger.
