Where's Our Review Of The Oculus Rift?
Today marks the official release of the Rift, the consumer virtual reality headset from Oculus VR. We've been playing around with the unit and its games for the last week, but we still need more time before we can render a final verdict on the new hardware.
Despite today being the official launch, the Rift headsets are trickling out to those who preordered. They aren't yet available in retail stores, so the technology will be slowly making its way to consumers over the next couple weeks.
Our early impressions have us impressed by the new technology – even in the face of an intimidating price point. However, more detailed analysis will be coming after we spend more time with the Rift and its software.
