Join Game Informer At This Year's Glitch Con For A Live Super Replay And Panels

by Andrew Reiner on Mar 23, 2016 at 10:02 AM

For the second consecutive year, Game Informer is joining forces with Glitch Con for two days of gaming discussions, tournaments, and fun. Many of Game Informer's staffers will be in attendance for both of Glitch Con's show days, held at the University of Minnesota on April 29 and 30. Glitch Con offers a variety of gaming-related activities, including panels, talks, tournaments, hands-on with upcoming indie games, and more.

After successfully recording our first live Replay episode at Glitch Con last year, we're upping the stakes this year with a live Super Replay. Think of it as a lock-in scenario for six hours with plenty of food and beverages to consume. The live Super Replay (of a secret game) begins Friday at 8 p.m. and runs until 1 a.m. It'll be a long haul, but we promise it'll be either a good time or a complete disaster. Either way, you won't want to miss it.

On the next day, join Kimberley Wallace for Gender vs. Gaming: A Discussion at 3 p.m. This panel explores the relationship between gender and digital games, discussing obstacles and hopes for the future. Participants also include Intropy Games designer Lisa Walkosz-Migliacio, Techno Buffalo writer Eric Frederiksen, and  Minnesota School of Business game & development application teacher Ashley Godbold.

We are also bringing a select few guests on a tour of Game Informer's office. These people will be selected during the show days. You can get your Glitch Con tickets right here.
