Watch YouTubers Bungle Their Way Through ‘Real Life Hitman’

by Mike Futter on Mar 09, 2016 at 03:22 AM

With Hitman due out this Friday, Realm Pictures and IO Interactive have teamed up to create a real life version of the game. A number of YouTubers were tasked with being Agent 47’s handler, guiding him through a mission. The results? Mixed.

Hitman players know that high-level play is about getting in, eliminating the target, and getting out without leaving a trace. The guest handlers (including actor Jane Perry, the voice of Hitman's Diana Burnwood) often opted for a more aggressive approach, with one so bloodthirsty that he suggests Agent 47 kill someone for fun.

Of course, none of this is real, but it’s a clever recreation of the types of settings 47 finds himself in. Disguises, poisonings, and environmental assassinations were all offered as the handlers guided the agent through the mansion to eventually eliminate their targets (though not without some failures).

Hitman’s first episode is due out on March 11 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. For more, check out our previous coverage.
