The Division Servers Are Live Now, Physical Copies Active
If you happen to have an early disc copy of The Division, you don’t need to wait for tonight. The game is live now worldwide.
Ubisoft confirmed to us that anyone who did happen to snag a retail copy can jump in now. For those who have purchased digitally, it’s going to be a bit longer.
If you’re planning on playing on console or PC with a downloaded copy, you can pre-load. But you won’t be able to jump in until midnight Eastern time.
If you need something to do in the meantime, you can get a code for four free outfits. Go to Ubisoft’s site for more information.
You can also visit The Division ID fansite to make yourself a Division identification card. It’s a neat way to get in the spirit.
Our Take
This is a boon for console gamers who happened to get early copies. PC gamers are waiting until copies unlock tonight, though. Note that reviews are going to be a few days, as servers just went live.
