EA Announces First Free Content Update For Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2

PopCap Vancouver announced the first free content pack for Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 today. The Graveyard Variety Pack features a new map, missions, gameplay features, and balancing. It launches tomorrow, March 8.

The trailer below provides a quick glimpse at some of the features the free DLC will bring, most notably the updated Garden Center map from the first Garden Warfare, now under the control of the zombies and known as the Aqua Center. You can read a complete list of the added features just after the trailer (text from EA).

• New co-op/team vanquish map Aqua Center
• Night version of the Great White North map in Turf Takeover playlist
• Hide n’ Find missions added to Backyard Battleground
• Bot & Pot Missions added to Backyard Battleground
• Unique character variant images in group HUD
• World Options now shows all friends playing the game
• “Classic” setting in options to change primary fire button (PS4 Only)
• Aim Sensitivity slider (for PC this is broken up into both mouse and gamepad sensitivity)
• Ability to select between hold button to aim or toggle button to aim
• Kick player option to the in-game scoreboard for easy access
• Difficulty option in Pause Menu for some game modes
• Game Now defaults to common chat in Private Matches
• Scoreboards are viewable when vanquished

In addition, PopCap Vancouver will improve some of the bugs and quality issues with the game through the update.
