Reader Discussion: Do You Get Excited For High-Definition Remasters?
High-definition remasters and upgrades are all the rage right now, but do you get excited about them?
There's a certain amount of, "it depends on the game," but I find I get excited about them, until I start playing them. I eagerly dive into remasters, but I rarely finish them. I'm happy they exist and don't want them to go away, but I often come to the realization pretty early on that, "Oh yeah, I've already played this." Regardless of that feeling cropping up every time I play a remastered game, I still get excited over the announcements of new ones.
