Hunger Games Inspired The Culling Enters Early Access On PC Today

Independent developer Xaviant decided to push The Culling into Early Access ahead of it’s March 8 release date by putting it out today. You and 15 friends (or foes) can head to a blood splattered island to decide who will be the last one standing.

The Culling takes more than a few cues from media where teens maim each other in a tournament setting, and appears heavily inspired by the Battle Royale and Hunger Games series. You have 20 minutes to survive on your own or with a small group, crafting weapons along the way to eliminate your competition.

The Culling is available now on Steam Early Access on PC. You can purchase a discounted double-pack through Humble Bundle in case you want to gift a friend. Also, you can watch us try to get through the game’s alpha unscathed right here. Spoilers: we die horribly.
