Marvel Games Celebrates Women Of Power This Month With New Characters And Content

Starting this month, Marvel is releasing new content and characters starring some of comics’ most powerful women. The “Women of Power” movement spotlights Marvel’s popular female characters and is being spread across Marvel games, comics, collectibles, and more.

The Women of Power event starts tomorrow and continues throughout spring and summer, coinciding with an initiative from Marvel Comics featuring 25 new variant covers starring Marvel’s most iconic women. The event also cover games on mobile, PC, and consoles, including: 

Lego Marvel’s Avengers: A new pack of DLC coming later this month features Captain Marvel, Moonstone and the villain Poundcakes. 

Marvel Contest of Champions: The latest update includes a new event quest featuring Ms. Marvel as well as new characters including She-Hulk, X-23, and Kamala Khan herself. 

Marvel Avengers Academy: An upcoming event brings several all-new female heroes to the Academy. 

Marvel Puzzle Quest: New variant comic covers is being added to the game, starring Marvel’s top female super heroes.

Marvel Future Fight: A new event focuses on Proxima Midnight, a member of Thanos’ Black Order and one of the Mad Titan’s most powerful generals.  

Spider-Man Unlimited: The next event is bringing several Spider-Women to Marvel’s endless runner, most notably Cindy Moon, AKA Silk. 

Marvel Heroes 2016: Players can team up with Rescue and earn an enhanced power costume for American Dream. 

Outside of games, the Women of Power movement also brings the launch of new figures, playsets, and collectibles featuring Black Widow, Captain Marvel, Silk, Gamora, Spider-Gwen and more.
