Disney Announces Next Batch Of Characters For Infinity 3.0
In addition to the announcement of four new play sets coming to Disney Infinity 3.0 in 2016, Disney today revealed Ant-Man, Vision, and Black Panther. They three new heroes are shipping alongside the Marvel Battlegrounds play set on March 15.
Disney is also supporting Jon Favreau's upcoming The Jungle Book movie with a Baloo figure based on the classic cartoon's design on March 15. Baloo will be playable within the Toy Box and Toy Box expansion games.
Disney Interactive's John Vignocchi also said more Marvel characters are joining Infinity's ranks soon, calling one of them a "big surprise." Who could it be?
We'll have to wait to see, but when we asked if it was Deadpool or Wolverine, Vignocchi was clear to point out that characters not currently a part of the Marvel Movie Universe would not likely appear in Infinity.
Toward the end of Disney's video, Vignocchi also teased what might be coming from Pixar and Disney. "We’ll see you next time, when we give you an update on some of our favorite fish and take a peek through the looking glass," he said. This hints at sets tied to Finding Dory and Alice in Wonderland.
