New Concept Images Of Disney's Star Wars Land Surface
Star Wars Land was first revealed last August for Disneyland and Walt Disney World as the largest single-themed expansions in park history at 14 acres each. While that announcement brought with it a small batch of concept images, last night's special on ABC, The Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60, debuted several new images and ideas.
The images shown give us a look at what we can expect from this expansion when it launches in what will surely be several years. Harrison Ford was on-hand during the special to speak further on what the park is offering. As of now, Disney claims the park will allow attendees everything from meeting various alien species to hanging out at the cantina sampling local delicacies. Several of the experiences sound ripped straight out of video games, including one allowing you to blast legions of Stormtroopers, and another placing you in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon.
