First Three Fallout 4 DLC Packs Announced, Season Pass Price To Increase
Your Fallout 4 Season Pass is about to have some value. Bethesda has detailed three add-ons coming beginning next month.
First up, is Automatron, priced at $9.99. A villain called The Mechanist has released a horde of killer robots in the Commonwealth. Find ‘em, kill ‘em, and use their parts to create your own mix-and-match companions.
In April, you’ll get the Wasteland Workshop add-on for $4.99. This allows you to build traps to capture NPCs and wildlife. You’ll be able to host deathmatches or tame hostile creatures. This DLC pack also adds customization options for your settlements.
The third update, priced at $24.99 and slated for May, is called Far Harbor. You’ll be headed to the coast of Maine for this adventure, which is a case from Valentine’s Detective Agency.
High radiation levels, a colony of synths, and the Children of Atom (not to be confused with the X-Men, known as Children of the Atom) all make this a treacherous journey. Bethesda says that there will be new, higher-level armor and weapons available in this expansion.
The publisher also announced that the price of the season pass will increase from $29.99 to $49.99 as of March 1. The reason for this is the bundling of even more add-on material throughout 2016.
If you already own the pass or purchase it before the price goes up, you’ll still get everything for the same price. If you’re interested in testing the add-ons, Bethesda is taking applications for beta testing. You can sign up here for a chance to get in early. Testers will be selected in the coming weeks, and you’ll get a full version of the add-on as a thank you.
Bethesda hasn't forgotten about survival mode or the creation kit that will enable official mod support. Both are in testing right now, with more information on the way.
