Reader Discussion: Who Is Your Favorite Street Fighter Character?
Street Fighter V launches tomorrow, and while we're all thinking about the legendary fighting game franchise, let's look at the stars of the series: the characters. With so many diverse characters from all around the globe making up the various rosters of the long-running series, there are plenty of worthy fighters to choose from.
I've always been partial to the Shoto characters like Ryu and Ken. Through Street Fighter IV, Ryu was my main thanks to his basic, yet effective moveset. For Street Fighter V, I've moved on from the face of the franchise to grow my skills with other fighters that work into my aggressive playstyle a bit more. I also loved the mystery that surrounded Akuma when he was first introduced late in the Street Fighter II cycle. Outside of the Shoto characters, I like Guile, Vega, Sagat, and Street Fighter V newcomer Rashid.
