[Update] Fan Trailer For Detective Pikachu Stars Danny DeVito's Voice
Update: The saga continues. A dedicated Danny-DeVito-as-Pikachu fan, youtube user Tealhollow1, has created a pretty amusing version of the Detective Pikachu trailer with voice clips from DeVito's movies and shows inserted into it. You can watch it here:

Original Story (January 29 at 12:42 PM Central): Danny Devito and Detective Pikachu have a lot in common. They are both short in stature, both have boisterous attitudes, and both are probably pretty good at solving mysteries. That last one is just a hunch.
A change.org petition is asking Nintendo to hire Danny Devito to play the titlular role of Detective Pikachu, the star of Nintendo’s upcoming 3DS game that still hasn’t been confirmed for the West. While watching the Japanese trailer below, try to imagine Danny Devito speaking through the snarky electric mouse. Or better yet, pull up another tab with your favorite clip from It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia.
Can you hear that? That’s the sound of society’s foundation changing. As of this writing, the petition is at 18,600 signatures and rapidly growing.
