Street Fighter V Trailer Gives Extended Look At Game Modes

by Javy Gwaltney on Jan 30, 2016 at 06:00 AM

A new trailer for Street Fighter V offers a detailed look at the modes available in the game. These include: tutorial, character story mode, survival, training, network battle, and CFN (Capcom Fighters Network).

Most of these  are pretty self-explanatory but the trailer breaks them down, showcasing footage from each mode. Capcom Fighters Network essentially functions as a social network within SFV itself, letting you watch battles and search for rivals in the game. You can watch the trailer here:

Capcom also recently revealed the story plans for the game, with character-focused stories being available at launch for fighters in the roster and a cinematic story expansion dropping in March that bridges the gap between Street Fighter III and IV.

Our Take
I've always been more in the Mortal Kombat (k)amp but the detailed trailer has actually piqued my interest in the latest Street Fighter, particularly its social networking aspects and seemingly detailed tutorial mode.
