Fallout 4 Mod Makes Preston Garvey And The Minutemen Leave You Alone
Preston Garvey might not be the most annoying NPC since Roman Bellic but man, he's up there. In Fallout 4, the dude is constantly raining down an endless stream of fetch quests and population control chores on you. Now thanks to the glory of mods, you can end one of the most annoying aspects of the game.
Modder Shad0wshayd3 has cooked up something that will disable the Minutemen quests that Preston assigns you whenever you talk to him. There's also an additional, optional piece here you can install that kills the settlement defense missions so you don't have to quit whatever quest you're doing so you can travel halfway across the map to babysit a bunch of children who can't take care of themselves whenever they're invaded by raiders even though you've given them the latest weaponry. Shad0wshayd3 has uploaded videos showing the mod in action. They're not the most exciting things in the world to watch but they do demonstrate the mod in action if you want proof before you go to the trouble of installing it.
