Prepare To Drown In Five Nights At Freddy's Merchandise

by Andrew Reiner on Jan 19, 2016 at 04:29 AM

We periodically see video games take the merchandising world by storm. A few year back, you couldn't walk down a store aisle without seeing an item branded with an Angry Bird. Now Minecraft is everywhere. In a few months it appears it will be Five Nights at Freddy's turn.

The indie game series from Scott Cawthon is transforming into a merchandising giant. Stores are already selling various goods such as apparel and phone cases bearing the likeness of Freddy's disturbing animatronic critters. Toy manufacturer Funko is months away from flooding stores with Mystery Minis, 6-inch plush toys, 2.5-inch key chains, whopping 16-inch plush toys, 2-inch action figures, and even pen toppers. Images of all of Funko's merchandise can be seen below.

A film based on the game series is in production with Warner Bros. Cawthon is heavily involved with the picture, which is directed by Gil Kenan.
