Awesome Games Done Quick 2016 Charity Speedrunning Event Concludes Raising Over $1.2 Million
Awesome Games Done Quick 2015 concluded last night moving beyond the million dollar mark in its fundraising efforts.
The event began on January 3 and after a week of streaming, it concluded last night. Games Done Quick announced hitting the $1.2 million mark about eight hours ago. In total, the event raised $1,211,978.32 for the Prevent Cancer Foundation..

Over the course of its now bi-annual event, Games Done Quick has marathoned speedruns while taking donations to raise more than $6 million for charity.
