Report: Activision’s Unannounced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Game Has An Achievement List

by Mike Futter on Jan 04, 2016 at 02:40 AM

Don’t be shell shocked. Back in November, we reported that Activision and Platinum are teaming up again for another licensed game.

After a middling effort with The Legend of Korra and a significantly more impressive outing with Transformers: Devastation, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game gave us hope. And while we’re still waiting for the title to be officially confirmed, we’ve got more evidence it’s happening.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan has not been officially acknowledged yet. It does have an achievement list though, according to the often reliable XboxAchievements.com

The list includes 50 achievements, that hint at online play, a loot system using “charms,” and a variety of menial tasks like transporting “Krang bombs,” gold bars, and bags of money. Some enemies and boss battles are revealed, but we’ll let you peep the actual list if you want to be spoiled.

We’ve reached out to Activision again for comment in hopes of finding out anything about this game. We’ll update should we receive a response.

Our Take
Between the November report based on the Australian Classification organization (also often reliable) and the achievement list, it looks like everyone is ready to talk about this game except Activision. The silence is a bit concerning, and I just have to hope this is more like Transformers and less like Korra.

The timing on this is also a bit amusing. Just a little while ago, Platinum delayed its Xbox One exclusive Scalebound to 2017.
