Flappy Bird's Creator Released A New Game Last Week
Dong Nguyen, the creator of Flappy Bird, released a new game last week with Swing Copters 2.
As the title implies, it is a sequel to Swing Copters. You can can grab the ad-supported, free-to-play game for iOS here. Last year, Nguyen famously pulled his massive hit game Flappy Bird down from iTunes at the height of its popularity. Since Flappy Birds, Nguyen has released three games: Super Ball Juggling, Swing Copters, and now Swing Copters 2.

Our Take
I appreciate Nguyen's mobile time-wasters. I have tried (and failed spectacularly) to set high scores in Flappy Bird and Swing Copters. Swing Copters 2 seems to have a little more personality than its predecessor with its talking characters, but I can't imagine it will light the world on fire like Flappy Bird was able to.
