Gone Home Is Finally Coming To Consoles Next Month

by Kyle Hilliard on Dec 07, 2015 at 06:00 AM

After being announced, and then seemingly abandoned, Gone Home is coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in January.

The port was developed in-house by Fullbright and the game has been updated to use the Unity 5 engine. It was originally built and released in the Unity 4 engine. The console version of the game will include 90 minutes of developer commentary and Fullbright is still partnered with Midnight City for its release.

Gone Home will be available on January 12 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. For our review of the PC version of Gone Home, head here.

Our Take
Glad to see the game finally come to consoles. It's a game that would definitely work well on a couch with people watching you play type of setting. I hope a Vita version is in the works as well.
