Street Fighter’s Next Fighter Is The Flexible F.A.N.G., Six DLC Characters Announced
Street Fighter head honcho Yoshinori Ono took the stage at PlayStation Experience to show off the latest new either for Street Fighter V. F.A.N.G. is the final launch character for the game.
F.A.N.G. is part of Shadaloo that uses deception to confound his foes. In addition, Ono announced the first six post-launch DLC characters. They are:
- Alex
- Guile
- Balrog
- Ibuki
- Juri
- Urien
All of those characters can be earned by playing or via a $29.99 season pass. The pass unlocks all six for use as they are released, and also comes with a premium costume for each and a PS4 theme.
Capcom also detailed the ways you can unlock bonus content like titles and other cosmetics. We've known about in-game Fight Money, but the publisher has detailed bundle prices for the real money currency, Zenny.
Here are some of the bundles you'll be able to purchase:
- 100 Zenny = Purchase for $0.99 / €0.99 / £0.79
- 550 Zenny = Purchase for $4.99/€4.99/£3.99 (receive a 50 Zenny bonus)
- 1200 Zenny = Purchase for $9.99/€9.99/£7.99 (receive a 200 Zenny bonus)
- 4000 Zenny = Purchase for $29.99/ €29.99/£24.99 (receive a 1000 Zenny bonus)
We don't have a great frame of reference for this yet, as we don't know final Zenny prices for the different items. For that reason, it's hard to know if the Zenny prices are reasonable. Street Fighter V will be out on February 16 for PlayStation 4 and PC.
