New Xbox 360 Games Will Become Backwards Compatible On Xbox One Every Month

by Ben Reeves on Dec 04, 2015 at 05:38 AM

Microsoft just kicked off it's Xbox 360 backwards compatibility with over 100 titles, but expect new 360 games to become available for Xbox One each month.

According to Partner Director of Program Management Mike Ybarra via twitter, the Xbox One's backwards compatibility list will grow a little bit each month.

Our Take
This isn't wholly surprising. I don't think too many people expected Microsoft to release all of the Xbox 360's massive library on the Xbox One in one go, but it's good to hear that we'll have details on the next round of games sometime soon. Hopefully our favorite titles, like BioShock and Halo Reach, will come to Xbox One soon.
