Civilization Revolution 2 Plus Delayed Until Late January

by Mike Futter on Dec 02, 2015 at 04:32 AM

You won’t be taking that one more turn this December after all. 2K and Firaxis have delayed Civilization Revolution 2 Plus on Vita.

The game was announced earlier this year for a December rollout worldwide. Those in Asia will still be playing on December 3 as planned.

North American and European gamers will have to wait until January 26, 2016. “We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences this may cause in light of the holiday season, but appreciate your patience as we continue to prepare the title for global release this coming year,” 2K writes on the official Civilization Facebook page.

Civilization Revolution 2 was released on mobile devices in July 2014. The Vita version includes new leaders from Japan and additional scenarios.

Our Take
January is probably a better time to launch this than December, but every new release on the Vita is a gift these days. I loved Civilization Revolution on last-gen consoles, so I’ll probably sink some time into this come January.
