Destiny Fan Illustrates Comic Depicting Cayde-6's Backstory
Cayde-6, the charmingly robotic Exo and Hunter Vanguard of Destiny’s Guardians, is a (mechanical) man of many mysteries, and also voiced by geek legend Nathan Fillion. A new fan-made comic illustrates one of the character’s few anecdotes that flesh out his backstory.
Created by professional illustrator Tyler Champion, the comic illustrates the tale (originally written by science fiction author Seth Dickinson) of Cayde-6’s part in the failed reclamation of the Moon against Hive forces. When Cayde finds himself swarmed by enemies, he stumbles upon an injured Fallen baroness attempting to stave off the same wave of Hive. You’ll have to read the relatively brief comic to figure out how it all ends, but those familiar with their Destiny lore may already know.
