Dragon Quest Heroes Arrives On PC December 3

by Mike Futter on Nov 21, 2015 at 07:12 AM

Following a successful PlayStation 4 release last month, Dragon Quest Heroes is poised to slime PC players. You won’t need to wait long for the colorful adventure, either.

Omega Force’s take on the Dragon Quest world features combat rooted in the Dynasty Warriors franchise, but with a healthy dose of RPG flavor. Players form parties, call upon defeated monsters, and level up in more traditional RPG-style throughout the game.

The PC version will come with eleven slime-themed weapons and two additional maps. Pre-orders are open now, with a 10 percent discount for those that take the plunge early.

Our Take
Square Enix has been ramping up its ports of Eastern-developed console games to PC. The company is set to close out the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy soon, and it’s been carrying over classic RPGs of late. Not only does this give older games new life, but it opens up newer titles to a huge, untapped audience.
