Free Guitar Hero Live On-Demand Weekend Celebrates Start Of 70 Song Rollout

By the end of 2015, Guitar Hero Live will have more than 300 songs available on disc and on-demand. Activision has announced the start of a 70-song for on-demand rollout that will continue through December.

This week brings three new premium shows that include a total of nine new tracks. They are:

  • Black Veil Brides Premium Show, which includes playable footage from the band’s live concert DVD “Alive and Burning,” will be live on Friday. The DVD chronicles the band’s first ever recorded live performance during their successful Black Mass Tour in November 2014 at the legendary Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles. Three of the songs from the DVD will be playable in GHTV, including “Heart of Fire (Live)”, “Fallen Angels (Live)” and “In the End (Live).”
  • Legendary Headliners Premium Show, including “Monster” by Paramore, “Sugar, We’re Goin Down” by Fall Out Boy and “First Date” by Blink-182 is live now.
  • Pop Goes GHTV Premium Show, featuring “Chocolate” by The 1975, “Believer” by American Authors and “Budapest” by George Ezra is live now.

Activision plans to release new music first via premium shows. The publisher plans to add the new music to the on-demand catalog once the events end. 

Starting at 4 a.m. Pacific / 7 a.m. Eastern on Friday, November 6, players will have free and unfettered access to the on-demand catalog. For more on Guitar Hero Live, check out our review and running list of available music.
