2K Announces Evolve Ultimate Edition, Borderlands Triple Pack
2K has announced two game-and-dlc bundles for the holidays. Both are coming to consoles, giving those on current-gen and last-gen something old to play in a new package.
For those on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, Evolve is now available in an “ultimate edition” that includes the base game, the monster expansion pack (Behemoth), and both hunting season passes. It’s available today for $59.99.
All three Borderlands games are also getting bundled up. The package includes all of the DLC available for the three titles. These will be available on November 17 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Our Take
Software bundles are a smart way to re-promote existing content during the busy holiday season. While Evolve has gotten a steady stream of add-on content, it hasn’t had a lot of buzz since early this year. Perhaps this bundle will bring in new players and give it a second chance.
