Mike Bithell’s Volume To Get Free Epilogue Chapter DLC First On PlayStation VR
Mike Bithell has announced an expansion to his stealth Robin Hood title Volume. You’ll be able to play it first (along with the rest of the game) as a PlayStation VR launch title.
The expansion, Coda, takes place after the main story. It includes 30 new missions with new cast members.
To celebrate the announcement, Volume is 30 percent off through November 4. A new update introduces new checkpoint modes and more staff-curated content created by the community.
If you already own Volume on PlayStation 4, you already likely know that when it arrives on Vita you’ll own that version, too. PlayStation VR owners will be eligible for cross-buy, as well.
As for the Vita version, Bithell and his team have prioritized quality over alacrity. “We’ve hit some roadblocks, which slowed us down,” he says. “Rushing out a weak port wasn’t an option, and I’m proud of what the team have managed to squeeze into that awesome little box.”
