PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate Makes Surprise Landing On PC Today
PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate hit the PlayStation 4 and Vita last year, and now PC players can get in on the action. The game, which combines the campaign from the original PixelJunk Shooter and its sequel, is available today.
Shooting is obviously a core part of the game, but negotiating tricky environments is a big part, too. Pilots have to avoid lava, water, oil, and other fluid – or use these liquids to solve environmental puzles. Players can swap between a faux-3D look or the classic style from the original release. Developer Double Eleven worked closely with Q-Games on the release, and the studios say the PC version is the definitive version of the game.
It's available for $9.99, and that price is being discounted 10 percent during its launch week. If you already purchased PixelJunk Shooter on Steam, you can receive a 20-percent discount. And if you're a loyal PixelJunk fan, you can get an additional discount for having PixelJunk Monsters, PixelJunk Eden, or Nom Nom Galaxy: five percent off for each game. The discounts can be combined, too.
